Below are our terms for the use of this Website, whether as a guest or a registered user.  Please read these terms carefully before using this Website.

These terms are an agreement (“Agreement”) between you and Light and Ember about your use of this Website and the information contained in or available through this Website and should be read in conjunction with our privacy policy. If you do not agree to these terms in full please leave this Website and do not make use of our services. By remaining on this Website and/or making use of our services you are deemed to accept these terms in full.

 

Wax melts 

As all of our wax melts are hand-poured, the finish of each wax melt may vary slightly.

 

Orders

If we are unable to accept your order for any reason, we will inform you of this and will not charge for the product. We may not accept your order if we cannot obtain authorization for your payment.

Payment is due in full at the time of purchase, prior to shipping.

Prices

All our prices are quoted in pounds sterling and are exclusive of delivery charges. Postage and packing prices will be charged in addition to the price of any goods, and are stated clearly at checkout

 

Delivery

If delivery is delayed by an event outside of our control then we will contact you as soon as possible.

 

Ownership of goods

Light and Ember will retain ownership of all goods until full payment has been made and funds have cleared.

 

Responsibility of goods

Goods will be your responsibility from the time we deliver the product/s to the address you gave us or you collect them from us.

 

Returns

At Light and Ember we want you to be happy with your purchase,

If you need to contact us for any reason please email us at gillian@lightandember.co.uk as soon as possible.

If your item does arrives damaged please contact us within 48 hours of receipt, after 48 hours we will not be held responsible for any damages reported.  Goods that are received damaged will be refunded or replaced. A photograph of item may be required. 

Please ensure the parcel is packaged adequately to ensure that the goods are not damaged in transit. Otherwise we may not be able to exchange or refund you. We recommend that keep receipt of postage as we cannot accept liability for goods lost or damaged in transit.

Our Liability

We are not responsible for any loss or damage that is not foreseeable. We will not be liable for a customer/third party failure to comply with product safety instructions resulting in personal injury and/or wilful damage/loss of or consequential damage to personal property.
